Chaz MacIntyre
Seeing in the rec room, he lounges on one of the sofas and listens to
his Ipod, flipping randomly through songs, not really finding anything
he really wants to listen too. It's one of those night. Too ... warm..
to sleep. That wasn't it really. He just wasn't really though he really
should have been. The mind too wake to listen to the protests of the
body.

Deianira Athanasios
When she had seen him in the rec room, she had darted back to her room,
and when she appeared in the doorway again, she was slightly out of
breath. After careful thought and consideration, she fully felt she had
overreacted. The way she was dressed today was nice, a skirt of black
that caught her at the knee, and a top that was mostly meshy lace
through the center, so it breathed. While in the mansion she was always
barefoot, but today her toenails and fingernails were painted a pink
color, quite cute. Thanks to Jamie of course.
She approached the couch with something behind her back, and she nibbled
her lip as she stood beside the couch.
"Um...hey, Chaz."

Chaz MacIntyre
He doesn't notice her right away, he eyes are sort of staring blankly at
the ceiling, while he thumbs through mp3s. Happening to shift position
to get more comfortable, he spots Dei, and sits up more. Pausing the
Ipod, he looks her over for a second, his eyes wary and his expression
reserved.
"I'm sorry. I didn't notice you."
Getting up, he begins to move towards the door.
"I'll let you have the rec room."
He seems... a tad mad. It's strange but if feelings are left to linger
enough, they kinda go off. What had been feeling of guilt and regret a
few days ago have slowly turned into resentment. After all, he had
apologized and everything, yet she threw it in his face. He had just
been joking and she's the one that overreacted. H had tried to make it
right, to extend an olive branch and she tried to bite his hand. Forget
it, it wasn't worth it.

Deianira Athanasios
Dei stepped in front of him and shook her head. "No, Chaz, I w.." she
nibbled her lip. "I wanted to...apologize." Her gaze went down, there
was shame and guilt in her own eyes. She felt awful for how she reacted
to his joke. Because it was a joke and not meant for anything but
a laugh. And she got...well...spazoid about it. "I overreacted, and you
didn't deserve that. You didn't mean it, and..." she lifted her dark
gaze. "I'm sorry."
She brought her hands out from behind her, and she offered a wrapped
present, it was soft, like it contained cloth of some sort, which it
did. A t-shirt, to be exact, and on it was the word 'Chaz' his name in
the shape of a guitar. She had found some t-shirt shop that just
happened to have a few 'Airheads' t-shirts. So that's what she'd gotten
him, yet on top of it in the wrapping was another small item. On a cord
of leather were a row of stones that were smoothed and carved into, his
name yet again. She hoped they'd be good gifts, the second one, the
necklace she got as an apology gift to him.
God she felt awful for it.

Chaz MacIntyre
Okay... now he felt bad again. Why do woman always do what you don't
expect and then make you feel all shitty because of it.
"Um... no... I was the jerk and I deserved it. Lets just call it the
past and leave it there. okay?'
The last word is spoken with a soft note of a pleading. Lingering on
this... event is twisting his stomach in knots and he just was to move
on. After opening her gifts, he looks surprised and now feels even
shittier.
"Oh Dei... no... I can't... I don't deserve thing stuff. You shouldn't
have. You don't even have a job yet. I don't want to be responsible of
tapping the last of your cash. I appreciate the gesture, but if doesn't
feel right. Please."
He tries to hand it all back.
"See if you can get a refund or store credit. I don't feel right about
you spending money on me."
|
Deianira Athanasios
Dei lifted a brow and didn't take the things back, her jaw set and he
could see the little muscles working along it. He better take it,
because if he doesn't, I'm gonna shove it up his bum. And that's
exactly what her eyes were saying too.
"I get sent money from home, and they're gifts, the necklace was
custom made, no refundies...what am I gonna do with a necklace that says
you're name?" But she wasn't saying this snippy or with anger,
there was a small amount of humor riding along her tones.
"C'mon...take 'em...please?" Her expression turned pouty, a weapon all
girls have, and she knew how to use hers.
|
Chaz MacIntyre
He looks over the necklace and smiles a back., then nods.
"Okay I'll accept the necklace but I've give you cash for the shirt.
That's my counter-offer.'
He's smiling again, a small playful smile but there lingers a hint of
wariness in his eyes.
"Do we have a deal?"
|
Deianira Athanasios
In a mock rolling of the eyes, she sighs, "Oh fine." But she
grins a moment later. "It was four whole bucks.." her grin turned into a
smirk of sorts.
She took one bold step and hugged him, a big squeezy hug with arms and
everything. She turned her head and blew a raspberry on his cheek before
stepping back.
"So we're all made up now, right?"
|
Chaz MacIntyre
"I don't know... you may have slobbered on me..."
He laughs and nods, give her a small hug and a quick tickle to the ribs.
"So... how many of the girls should I avoid for fear of gossip?"
|
Deianira Athanasios
The tickle got a giggle, and she gave his shoulder a nudge, but his next
words bewildered her. For a moment, Dei just looked at him, and she put
her hands on her hips. "Huh? Gossip about what?"
She nibbled her lip then, a look of unsurity passed over her features.
What in the world is he talking about?
|
Chaz MacIntyre
"About me? You know... the new guy is a jerk... the new guy is rude...
the new guy only has one power..."
He grins and laughs, before tickling her again.
"That kind of thing. I mean isn't what you girls do... go talk to your
gal pals about us guys when we do something mean or stupid or both?"
|
Deianira Athanasios
"Nah, not really," she shrugged. "I don't gossip, I'm not typical." That
tickling made her squirm and grab his hands, her grip was icy and
steadfast...but she was laughing.
"Don't make me tackle you, because I will, and I'll get my revenge for
this tickling..." Her gaze was playful.
|
Chaz MacIntyre
Smirking, he slowly raises his arms above his head, and nods.
'Feel free... I'll let you know if you find a ticklish spot. So...
anything else new?"
|
Deianira Athanasios
Her hands were slightly attached to his wrists, so when he lifted them
over his head, she was being drawn in and stretched upward. And she
smirked a bit, not letting go just yet, though being this close she had
to admit to realizing how cute he was again.
"Uh..new?" Distracted sounding as she looked at him, with her hands
still mostly frozen to his wrists.
|
Chaz MacIntyre
"Or old... boring... drab... whatever floats your boat."
Glancing up his wrists and her hands, he lowers them down and frowns a
bit.
"This isn't like the tongue of the flagpole things is it?"
|
Deianira Athanasios
"Oh? No, I was being fierce, stopping you, ya know...grr and stuff." She
lets the ice go and lets his wrists go. "Well, it could be if you wanted
it to be." Playful flirting.
She smirked and she shrugged. "Went on a date."
|
Chaz MacIntyre
"Oh?"
He massages his wrists a bit to warm them somewhat.
"And does Ms Dane know that you are dating Mr. Summers?"
He jokes very straight faced, but his eyes twinkle with amusement.
|
Deianira Athanasios
Her eyes rolled. "Right, Mr. Summers, and bats might fly out of my ass."
She chuckled and nudged him, before she sat on the arm of the sofa.
"With Marshall, the guy...I said...we went to a movie and had ...well he
had coffee I had ...a malt.."
|
Chaz MacIntyre
"And..... then what?"
He knows enough not to tease her too much on this. She likes Marshall
and it would be cruel to make light of that affection. Better to let her
tell the story at her own pace.
"Good movie? Bad movie?"
|
Deianira Athanasios
"Great movie, the pirates one, and.." her cheeks flushed and she glanced
down, as she tugged on the pony tail her hair was in. "He kissed me."
There was a definite grin on her lips at that. Wide and lovely. She
looked up to him.
"It was nice."
|
Chaz MacIntyre
"And... then what? Did you at least kiss him back or did you let him do
all the work?"
He smirks and ruffles her hair, in a big brother fashion.
|
Deianira Athanasios
Dei let out a tiny squeak at the ruffling and she ducked her head a bit
trying to pull from that.
"I kissed him back, yes. I have very more than friendly feelings for
Marshall." Dei sighed sweetly and chuckled. "He's so...so..cute."
|
Chaz MacIntyre
"Cuter than me?"
He tries to act all hurt, then ruins it by laughing.
"I'm glad you caught your boy."
|
Deianira Athanasios
"Nobody's cuter than you, not even you," she nudged him and she
chuckled, teasing him lightly. She folded her arms over her chest.
"The night started out awful though, we were awkward and all silent and
...just plain..well awkward, and then when we got in the movie, I
mentioned it was a horrible date, he agreed, and then said a joke about
restarting the night. And he ...just gave me this grin that was ...well,
it made my heart do that little pitter patter thing...and the night went
much better."
