Powers:

Technopathy/Technomancy

Malissa may communicate with, retrieve information from, and enter computer systems.  She can also reprogram robots and other computers with her mind.  Sentient computer systems are more difficult to control, but with work and time this is possible.

Stunts:
Haywire

Malissa can make large numbers of electronic objects do crazy things, but can’t control the objects’ actions when doing so.  For example, she could make monitors or televisions flicker, change screen color, change channels and such, but has no control over which the televisions or monitors do.

Machine Animation

Once linked, Malissa can cause a computer-controlled machine to move and perform actions at her behest. If the machine cannot move on its own, the hero can give it a limited ground movement.

Mechanical Link

The power may be used on any machine with a motor, regardless of whether it has a computer.

Computer Memory

Melissa has the ability to run programs in her mind, she also has the ability to writ programs and install them in her mind and thusly learns things immediately.  By loading a program she can immediately learn another language or skill.  These skills or abilities leave her as soon as she uninstalls them.  Her computer memory gives her an eidetic memory as well.  She can hold up to ten terabytes of information in her head

Electronic Telekinesis

Malissa may move electronic and machinery components with her mind.  Her telepathic ability does not reach further than that.  She can assemble electronics, machinery, and computers with her mind easily.  Her telekinesis has no effect on any other objects or any living beings.
 

Power Limits:

When Malissa is animating machines, or is linked to a computer she is oblivious to the outside world.  She cannot hear, see, smell, taste, or feel.  All of her senses are wrapped up inside the computer or machine she is in.  This weakness is not in effect when she is controlling simple machinery, making electronics go haywire, or when she is using her Electronic Telekinesis.

Skills:

Melissa is very good at putting things together, if those things are electronics or machinery.  Malissa can take an item apart and know exactly how it works and what it does just by its components and parts.

Personality:

Melissa is a complicated person.  She has several pet peeves regarding things like grammar and technology.  But she's bright and warm and attracts friends easily.  She's not strong and can get panicky in danger unless she has her technological advances around her.  She can, however, have a bad and quick temper if the right buttons are struck, and she tends to hold grudges.

History:

Malissa's mother was a Mechanical Engineer, her father was a Computer Engineer, all of her life technology was a big part of her life.  She studied and worked along side her parents, which gave her a big advantage over other children her age.  She didn't take to having a lot of friends, or really any at all.  She was stuck in one computer lab or another every year of her life. 

By the time she was 14, she'd already completed high school and was starting her first year of college.  It was shortly after her graduation from high school, as her parents celebrated with her by way of picnic atop her favorite hill-top park, there came a very sudden storm where she was struck by lightning.  She had been holding onto her father's lap top computer at the time, the lightning caused her mutations to bloom as well as causing her mind to meld with the computer memory with her brain.  Her parents knew of her mutation, and it seemed to bring her parents closer together with her.  Because of this, they talked her into getting a port jack installed to make it easer for her to communicate with computers.

She majored in both mechanical and computer engineering and has successfully got both her bachelors and masters degrees and she was only 22.  She felt she was ready to put herself out in the world, and has come to work with her parents once again.
