Powers:
Gravitation Control
Jo’elle has the ability to alter the attractive forces of gravity up
or down. Through this she can alter the gravity around her or objects
giving herself the ability to fly, or move things as if she had
telekinetic-like powers
Equipment/Wealth:
Jo’s family is upper middle-class, she has a lot of the things a
teenager would have if she were to live in the suburbs. She has a car,
one that is roughly five years old, a Chevy. Jo also owns a cell phone,
laptop, skateboard, rollerblades, a soccer ball, and a lot of clothes
though they’re mostly geared toward the sporty side of style.
History:
Jo’elle’s parents were
pretty much the norm when it came to life and what they had. Her
mother worked as a secretary at her high
school, and her father worked
as an accountant for a local tax firm. Growing up near Chicago,
Illinois, her life was pretty much normal. She worked hard at school
and played hard at soccer and skating.
Jo’elle is a tomboy,
she likes to play it rough, likes to do things he parents wouldn’t
approve of, like…bungee jumping. While at an outing with her friends,
bungee jumping, she and her friend Elizabeth did a tandem jump, when
much to their horror, the cord snapped. In a panic Jo’elle’s powers
emerged causing the gravity to cease pulling on them, and they came to
a stop two feet above the ground.
The town where Jo grew
up wasn’t overly large, so people began to get word of it quickly. Jo
became ostracized from her family and friends and soon found it too
uncomfortable to stay at home. She heard about the school for mutants
and so she gathered up all her things, packed up her car, and headed
to New York. Jo’s a new student, and though she’s a fun loving sort,
she has to learn to deal with her new-found
powers and learn control.
Personality:
Fun-loving, yet
responsible, Jo is extroverted and a bit peppy, yet not overly giddy.
She has a good sense of humor and it takes quite a bit to anger her.
She laughs easy and most times tries to diffuse tense situations with
laughter or a joke. She is, however, a tom boy, and seeks to get out
and have some fun whether it be through soccer or skating.
