Sabina can generate and manipulate light energy.
Stunt: Light Body: Sabina can become a creature of pure light.
While in light form, she hero can fly by will of manipulating the light
she becomes. She has absolutely no strength while in this form, but in
exchange for strength she is invulnerable to kinetics and other physical
attacks.
Sabina was born to very strict god fearing catholic
parents. Everything was a sin, from lying to eating too much at the
dinner table. Sabina may have possibly had one other sibling, but the
infant died as a
cause of SIDS. Her parents blamed her
for this. They locked her in the basement, refusing to let her go to
school, have toys or friends. Sabina was taught by her mother as a
substitute for school, and her views were very much skewed, so
Sabina’s are as a result.
At
the age of 13, Sabina was also informed that her puberty was a sin as
well. Her parents never celebrated her birthday, and she has no idea
what her birthday even
is, or the concept of a birthday even. That
same year, her house was broken into, and her parents were brutally
murdered as a result of a floundered robbery attempt. Sabina screamed,
trying to get through the door to save her parents, and in panic and
fear she became a being of pure light and was able to slide beneath
the door into the home that she hadn’t seen since she was six years
old. Upon seeing her, the robbers panicked and fled.
The police found poor little Sabina huddled in her home
with her dead parents, and she was sent off to social services and an
orphanage. Sabina was unable to deal with this life of seeing people
every day, and so she was sent to a Sanitarium to be treated. After
three years, when they discovered that she was a mutant, she was sent
to Xavier’s school for gifted youngsters.
Sabina is quiet and shy, she has trouble dealing with
the public and people and she keeps to herself most of the time. She
believes she is a sin, and an abomination due to the teachings of her
parents, and questions everything she ever does.
