The circumstances of Angel's birth and growing up are sordid, to
say the least. A young teen, no more than 15 came to know Father
Michael Robbins as a friend and confident. They were
inseparable, but her parents always felt it was an innocent matter due
to the fact that Michael was a priest. Of course he was also a
young man fresh out of Seminary school. He and Tabitha became
lovers. The affair was threatened to come out into the open when
Tabitha became pregnant with Angel.
Out
of desperation, Tabitha gave up the baby for adoption, claiming she'd
been raped by a stranger and the pregnancy was a result. Father
Michael Robbins, unknowing that Angel was, in fact, his daughter as
she was placed in the orphanage that the church kept watch over.
He never knew of his daughter at all, in fact, Tabitha had broken off
all relations with the Father. Out of loneliness, he took to
watching over the baby who blossomed into a beautiful young woman, who
looked so much like Tabitha.
Heart stricken, Father Michael told Angel of the affair, and she
became smitten with him when she was a tender age of 16. The two
became lovers. Neither of them had a clue to the truth of her
origins until Tabitha, a successful woman now, came to visit him.
When the horrid truth was revealed, that Father Michael's new lover
was his daughter, he went insane with guilt and sadness and committed
suicide. Angel came to live with her long-lost mother, but she grew
resentful of the whole thing. Despite it being so wrong, she
missed Father Michael and blamed her mother for him disappearing.
Shortly after high school, Angel left to never return. Angel found
that life in New Orleans was hard, until she met a man by the name of
Jayce Trenton. Through his help she learned of the world, all of
it, including the dark things. He helped her become a city-wide
known singer at his clubs about the city, and eventually he took to
embrace her. The whole ordeal was horrible for Angel, as the
embrace from Jayce was not enjoyable at all, it was painful and
terrifying. She didn't hold it against him, however, and her
life became one of luxury. Jayce gave control of the club "Wet" to
Angel, who runs it and still performs in it from time to time.
Her haven is a home that was once one of Jayce's as well, a rather
posh mansion with a very dark, yet well kept portion of the home being
completely windowless for her safety. She seeks to find someone
to replace her dear Father Michael, even after all this time. |
